Gurudev Hoysala Movie Review: Dhananjay shines as a Cop in a gripping cop drama

Image
Gurudev Hoysala, the Dhananjay starrer film, which is a cop drama released on 30th March 2023. The film has it's both share of positives and negatives. The script is fine, which is aided by good screenplay, and narration. Dhananjay has shined well in the role of a cop, and Naveen Shankar has done well as an antagonist. Avinash BC of KGF fame has acted well without that KGF hangover, and Achyuth Kumar has done well as Inspector Sampath . Action scenes have come out well, and we can say that the first half of film is very good.  The second half could had been handled better. It seems that the director was confused with regards to taking the story forward, and few unwanted scenes are there in the second half. Though Naveen Shankar performed well as an antagonist, his character was not sketched properly. Amrutha Iyengar's presence don't add any value to the movie. The second half was an amateur work. The film should be an engaging watch to people who love action movies, for the

Bangaarada Manushya Movie Review: Dr. Rajkumar's feast for movie lovers

Image
Bangaarada Manushya is a social drama family entertainer film that was released on 31st March 1972, and it starred Natasarvabhouma Dr. Rajkumar and Bharathi in lead roles. This Cult Classic was directed by Siddalingaiah who had previously worked with Dr. Rajkumar in Mayor Muthanna, Baalu Belagithu, Namma Samsara, Thayi Devaru and Nyayave Devaru. So this was the sixth collaboration of Siddalingaiah with Dr. Rajkumar. Bangaarada Manushya ranks as the greatest movie I have seen, and is undeniably a milestone. The script is so beautiful and heart-touching. Dr. Rajkumar delivers an outstanding performance, and plays the role with such finesse that no other actor in the world except Dr. Rajkumar himself can replicate it. T. N. Balakrishna also delivers an outstanding performance as Rachutappa. Vajramuni plays the role of an antagonist with great finesse. All other actors shine as well in this Cult Classic.  Bangaarada Manushya has come out as a masterpiece in every department. Siddalingaiah
